You do not need an account to use this, you do not need to still be at the school, and you do not have to explain why.

Include the record identifier or the address of the page, and enough for us to tell that the request is yours. If you no longer have a school address, say so and we will verify another way rather than turning you away.
What we will do
- Your author page. Archived on your say-so alone. It stops being reachable and your name appears as plain text on anything you co-wrote. Reversible for thirty days if you change your mind.
- Your name on a record you co-wrote. Removed at your request, with your co-authors told.
- A record with a single author. Withdrawn on request.
- A record with co-authors. This one is not ours to grant alone, because it is their work too. We contact every co-author, and the advisor decides. We will tell you what is happening at each step rather than leaving you waiting.
How removal works
A removed page returns a clear "gone" response rather than redirecting somewhere else, so search engines drop it instead of quietly relabeling it. We cannot remove copies already made by other people or by archiving services, and we will not pretend otherwise.
Work published before this site existed
If your work was published somewhere older and moved here, this route covers it, and it covers it whether or not anyone asked you at the time. Republishing older work at an address that search engines actually index is a real change, and the request to undo it is honored without argument.
How long it takes
Anything within our sole control is done within a few days. Anything needing co-authors or the advisor takes longer, and we will say where it stands rather than going quiet.
