What we store
The whole list is on this page. It is short because the shortest way to protect data is to never hold it.
Reading this site stores nothing about you at all
The published records, the guides, the deadline calendars, and the mistakes list need no account. Search runs in your browser against static files, so no search you type here is sent anywhere or logged by anyone.

We do not read documents a student links to. We store the address and display where it points, and nothing fetches or opens it. We do not train models on student work, we do not sell data, we do not show advertising, and we do not build a profile of anyone for any purpose beyond running this service.
Accounts are for students aged 13 and over. At signup a student names a parent or guardian, who receives one message asking them to confirm. The student can work immediately and for fourteen days while that is outstanding, but nothing is published before a guardian has confirmed. After fourteen days without an answer the work is paused and kept safe; it returns the moment permission arrives. An account still unconfirmed after sixty days is deleted.
A teacher sponsor separately confirms the school. Until they do, the affiliation shows as unverified on anything published.
- Your project work: you, your co-authors, any mentor assigned to it, and the officers and advisor who run the program.
- Your email address: officers and the advisor. It is never rendered on a public page, in any form.
- Feedback from a mentor: attached to the project and visible to officers and the advisor. There is no private messaging between an adult and a student here.
From your settings, at any time, without giving a reason. Published records are handled separately, because they carry co-authors: see takedown.

The privacy policy and terms of service are with counsel and will be published here before any student outside a pilot uses the working surface. If something on this page and something in those documents ever disagree, tell SciPath and we will fix the discrepancy rather than argue it.
